Proposed profile for Norsk Barnebokinstitutt. NBI is essential to the genre of children's literature in Norway, just as punctuation is essential to understanding language. This concept forms the new profile for Norsk Barnebokinstitutt. Norsk Barnebokinstitutt wanted a modern and mature look to reflect its academic role in Children's Literature. To appeal to teachers, writers, librarians etc as a centre of research and teaching, dedicated to promoting excellence and further understanding in the area of children's literature. 

Emoticons as graphic elements

The «B» shape in the logo has two eyes, which we’ve used to create emoticons and characters. Just like when you expressing different feelings through book reading. This is additional graphic elements where each employee can have their own unique signature based on their facial expression. Also a good support element that makes the profile strong and easily recognizable. An effective grip on surfaces such as postal publications, promotional items and decoration.
